M. Sc. Benjamin Ledel
my name is Benjamin Ledel and I joined the team of ‚AI Engineering‘ at the Institute for Software and System Engineering as a PhD student.
Here are a few words about me:
I did my bachelor and master’s degree in Applied Computer Science (study direction: data science) at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen. While I studied for my master’s degree I worked as a student assistant in the research group Software Engineering for Distributed Systems - especially in the SmartSHARK project. SmartSHARK collects data from software projects and is able to analyze them. Thus, I decided to write my final thesis in the field of Machine Learning / Software Engineering. As a result I generated a bug localization algorithm based on a search engine and a random forest.
In general, my research interests including Machine Learning, explainable AI and everything about data from the software engineering process.
M.Sc. Hamidreza Eivazi
My name is Hamidreza Eivazi Kourabbaslou. I have recently joined the ML4E team at the Institute for Software and System Engineering (ISSE) as a doctoral researcher.
My general research interests are computational physics and machine learning. I have a background in numerical methods for the simulation of fluid flows. I have also worked on reduced-order modeling and learning the dynamics of turbulent flows using machine learning. During the past year, I have been working on Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) and their application in the solution and identification of partial differential equations (PDEs).
Thank you for welcoming me to the research group, and looking forward to future collaboration!
Wir freuen uns riesig auf die kommende Zusammenarbeit und wünschen Benjamin und Hamidreza alles Gute und viel Erfolg!
