HICSS Minitrack Healthcare Applications for Personal Vehicles

The Institute for Software and Systems Engineering is happy to announce, that we successfully applied for a minitrack on the 2024 Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences.

In order to contribute with your research to the minitrack, please see the information for the call for papers as described below.

The use of personal vehicles such as e-scooters and pedelecs is increasing. Recent research has explored healthcare applications for such vehicles, using integrated sensors to measure vital signs and warn of potential health issues. Shared mobility applications raise privacy and security concerns, and other challenges include sensor calibration, network connectivity, and energy efficiency.

We invite you to submit your work to our Minitrack at the 57th Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences, January 3rd – 6th, 2024, https://hicss.hawaii.edu/tracks-57/information-technology-in-healthcare/#healthcare-applications-for-personal-vehicles-minitrack.

Your research should explore topics such as:

  • System architectures, data platforms,
    healthcare ecosystems, and energy efficiency
  • Acceptance and success models
  • Privacy protection, security management,
    authentication sensors, and wireless networking
  • Data analytics, data integration,
    and cross-domain data usage
  • Artificial intelligence (AI)
    and explainable/understandable AI
  • Shared mobility application

The submission deadline is June 15th, 2023.
