M. Sc. Abhishek Buragohain
Greetings everyone ,
I am Abhishek Buragohain , and I have recently joined the institute as a Doctoral Researcher in the research group -DAC . Previously I finished my MSc. In information Engineering (specialization in Intelligent Systems) from Kiel University of Applied Sciences. During my masters I worked as a student assistant (in a project called UFO-TriNet ) as well as a master thesis student( in a field of medical imaging) in the Working group ‘Image processing and machine learning ’ in Kiel University of Applied Sciences . During my master thesis , I worked on the application of generative adversarial networks for the task of key-point localization in medical images. It was one of the most memorable and enjoyable time of masters study and in many ways inspired me to choose a research oriented path. I would like to thank the research group DAC and the entire institute for providing me this opportunity. My interest lies the field of computer-vison, deep learning . At the same time I am also excited to learn new things in the research group.
